  Consumers Be Aware of Deceptive Business Practices. Amanda greeted me at check-in on Saturday 5/24/25 at 11am. However, when I asked her for a disinfecting wipe to clean the tablet that I observed her just using and I’m sure everyone before me due to the number of fingerprints I also noticed, she gave me a very unfriendly stare. Perhaps she’s never heard of Covid-19. Certainly she should be well aware of cleaning protocols. In addition, I booked the oxygenating facial because I saw the promotion which reads limited time offer! 50% off a customized facial at the non-member, non-intro rate when you receive your facial by June 1,2025. Also, the image on the advertisement shows the oxygenating facial. At checkout, I was charged $140. The normal cost for this service is $200, but due to the advertised special, I believed that was the reason for the lower price. At 3:12pm, I received a voicemail from Natasha who said there was a price discrepancy and that they were going to void my transaction from earlier Saturday morning and rerun the transaction. However, she failed to mention how much they were going to charge me. Her voicemail message stated that there was a problem with their computer. In addition, I paid for a 60 minute facial and my facial was 35 minutes. Summer completed my service and she was great except I did not receive a 60 minute facial that I paid for. Based upon my rexperience with Massage Envy, it appears that they have some deceptive and misleading business practices. Amanda at the front desk was rude and when she answered the phone when I inquired about the voicemail message and the “discrepancy”, her claws came out. She refused to answer my questions, when I asked to speak with Natasha who left the message just 3 minutes prior to me returning the call, she said Natasha was not there, she refused to apologize and she lied and said when asked that they closed at 5pm. The posted hours for the Hanover location reads that they are open until 6pm on Saturdays. Waiting for the manager to call me back as she is away for the holiday.

  My massage therapist Malik, was amazing. He really gave me the massage I needed to reduce my stress being I just came home from the hospital. When I left, I felt very relaxed as I was able to sleep peacefully that night.

  $15 market fee per hour I used so I was charged an additional $30 plus the extra $12 for the back facial AND my bday gift to get my high frequency add on was not included. I only opted for the $20 neck exfoliation up charge. I was forced to pay $77 IN ADDITION to my two hours I used. Mind you NONE of the other fees were brought up until AFTER the services.
