- Rating 1.0On 10/24/2024 I had an appointment at Massage Envy in Crofton, MD. On the way there I felt the right side of my car going down and pulled over. My right front tire was completely flat down to the rim. My car was not drivable. I called my GEICO roadside service which sent out a technician to take off my right front tire and install my spare tire that was in my trunk. While waiting for the technician I called Massage Envy to let them know I had a flat tire. They said I would have to pay for my visit even if I got no service from them that day!!! So, they get paid for no work!!! This is outrageous and unacceptable. I have been a member at Massage Envy for years and have never missed an appointment. If I was someone who missed appointments frequently, I could understand it. But I have never missed an appointment before. And in an emergency situation like this there was no recourse. I would be happy to send you the receipt from the garage showing that a new tire is being purchased because a nail went through the side wall of my tire. The idea that your company would charge a customer as myself who never misses appointments and gives large tips to massage therapists is an outrage.
