  The location had been changed and not being familiar with the area, it was a challenge.gps told me id arrived but it was a huge center with poor markings. It was well worth the adventure.

  My appointment was confirmed with a text message. In the text message, it had the location as Message Envy Point Loma. I arrived at 11:20 for my 11:30 appointment to see a sign on thr door indicating that the location was temporarily closed and to go to the new location. The new location is 15 minutes away. At no time was I notified of the location being temporarily closed, not even on my text reminder for the appointment. I called to let the staff know I would be late and that I still expected my full 90 minutes because me being late was not my fault. Such poor communication on the part of Massage Envy. This is bad business practices and I am considering canceling my membership.

  I was not aware the Point Loma site would be temp shutdown. Apt moved to mission valley location - there is an old site and a new site in the same building but the old one is more prominent, I actually left thinking it was closed. Removing the old sign or adding a note to the door to go around the corner to the less obvious new door would have been helpful. New mission valley site is directly over an Orange Theory fitness, meaning the massage table was constantly vibrating from the music and activity below as well as sporadic loud thumps (like a liana being dropped). Not how I prefer to spend my relaxation time and funds. Actual people at the site were lovely.

  Worst massage from a provider that usually gives a great massage

  The appointment was confirmed for an hour versus 90 minutes, the therapist was 10 minutes late and front desk didn't inform me. The massage was not a full 75 minutes.

  The massage therapist effevtively addressed the pain areas in my back. I felt much better after the session.

  I am not able to look up my credits without having to talk to a person. I am not able to get a service on short-notice; fewer female masseuses than male masseuses.

  Moving to a new location without advance warning is not nice. I found out the day of the change. The new location was not ready for more customers. In the room, There were no chairs to put clothes and items on, No Kleenex, etc.

  I booked an appointment for the Point Loma location only to receive a message it won’t be at that location due to closure. They also didn’t have change for cash tips and had to manually enter my card (why I brought cash due to being charged twice last time I gave them my card manually) ) so hopefully that doesn’t happen again . Facial itself was magical.
