I went to Massage Envy located at 19115 W Capitol Drive, in Brookfield WI, for a chemical peel. I am three days out and still have yet to notice any “peeling” or change in the skin. The night that I was there, the front desk receptionist told me that she ran out of chemical peel Aftercare Kits (5 products, including SPF, moisturizer, face wash, collagen and brightening lotion that you use for 5 days after the treatment) that was included in my service. Assured me the manager would reach out to me the next day. They didn’t. So I called them and that’s when they told me I had to wait 5 days until they got them in. (Caroline, Kaitlyn and Bridgett are who I spoke with) They refused to allow me to speak to the manager, refused to refund part of the service that I paid for (the kit), and refused to make it right by giving me other supplies to supplement. (I reached out to another Massage Envy location and they told me that’s unacceptable, that they should be giving me samples or even opening products up to get me thru until the kits arrive..) Need I add that I also didn’t receive any take home instructions after my service that day and had never received a chemical peel before so I knew nothing about the aftercare. When requesting any sample items or just directions, the staff was unable to assist me. When asking to speak to the manager, I was told that she was in the process of leaving for a family emergency with her dog… I was expected to purchase my own aftercare with my own money despite it being included in the service I paid for, and to research my own aftercare after being told the kits I paid for wouldn’t be there until 5 days post peel. I 0/10 recommend Massage Envy on 191st and Capital for their services, as the customer service alone is unsatisfactory and the chemical peel home kits aren’t ordered on a regular basis upon coming up to low stock. I understand things happen, but to make me feel as though I am bothering them, when I’m just requesting a solution is extremely disappointing.. I was really looking forward to this treatment and they have ruined the entire experience. I also paid $170 for this experience. I have never made a complaint against a company, but this is something nice I wanted to do for myself to help with some scarring after a car accident I had a few months ago. I suggest taking your service somewhere else. The other locations that were trying to assist me, were amazing! They couldn’t offer me the kit because it’s a franchise company and each location is separate, but funny how they all came up with a solution as to how they would help, also mentioning how this location should NOT be providing chemical peels without the aftercare kits.
