  I am a mother to a toddler whose husband is deployed. I came home for the holidays and over the last few weeks started experiencing scapular pain on my left side. I decided to treat myself (finding child care isn’t that easy for me) and get a 90 min massage. I didn’t know the masseuse. I filled out the forms of areas of concern and where I wanted to be massaged. When she brought me in I also told her I’d like my upper back, scapula on the L side and traps focused on but if she could touch on the rest lightly. She started on my upper back but immediately started talking about everything. She didn’t even ask if I wanted to be taking for the massage so I felt obligated to respond. She barely did much to my upper back which was my focus and after my arms and legs she had me roll over. She was so busy talking I don’t think she was able to focus well enough bc after that she didn’t even massage my other leg or my other arm. She seemed very inconsistent and was all over the place. She then spent about 20-30 mins on neck which I didn’t really appreciate and said that she “must be tired because I’m talking a lot” and “I hope your relaxed” but I really wasn’t and I was about to leave the massage early because of how disappointed I was. Needless to say I felt like it was a waste of my time and money got the experience.

  Check in went well. Every staff member was very attentive and friendly. I didn't feel like as a new customer I was being pressured into anything. My expectations were completely blown out the water by the accommodations and tranquility of the ambiance.

  Although I had booked an appointment for a firm massage, the masseuse was very light. I asked her if she could increase the strength and she said okay but then didn’t change anything. So I felt uncomfortable asking again. Then she finished the massage ten minutes early. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

  It was the worst massage I have ever had. You should advertise that a person is Just out of school and has zero experience. It was like she watched videos and memorized the movements but had no clue on how to manipulate muscles. It was advertised that she could do deep tissue, she confirmed it before starting as well as went over the main issue which was neck and shoulders. She then proceeded to spend 30 min on my ribs?!?! But just my right side. No muscle there just weird finger circles. Skipped shoulders, skipped upper back. Flipped me over and did the edges of my legs. Again not the muscles, just wiped the sides. Attempted the neck but spent the 5 min on sliding her arms underneath and that was it. Twords the end I just asked her to stop as it was the biggest waste of time and money. Il tried calling the next morning (today) and no one would answer. Super angry.

  My therapist was great. Some are better than others. Best ones very hard to get into. Massage Envy needs to make sure descriptions of therapists firmness levels is kept up to date.

  Great massage! Dimeter really knows how to get the tight spots to release. He really helps my neck and shoulders.
