    The part afterwards where I am relentlessly hounded to buy more stuff. Massage Envy's business model is antithetical to the very relaxation that it claims to promote. It is the reason why I do not like coming here. To be perfectly clear, the therapist was wonderful and the front desk person was extremely pleasant. (I am fully aware that she is just doing her job)

    Allan is the best! We've worked together for so long, he has reduced my chronic hand and arm pain from work, and he helps keep my muscles in repai mode. It is always the best part of my week and month!

    Various parts. First, I arrived to your location with severe pain in my neck and back and really wanted a good massage and I explained that to my masseuse (Rene). After what felt like 10 minutes I mentioned to her not to feel afraid about hurting me, to really dig in. She said “I don’t do that, the deepest ill go is firm.” And perhaps is my fault, I don’t get a massage often and I am unaware of the policies when it comes to asking for a specific masseuse. And although Rene did go out of her way to accommodate my tardiness and giving me my full 90 minutes, I just would have like to have known ahead of time that we were not fit for each other. After my massage, i paid my tip to the customer service representative and I also requested a printout of my hours. I wanted to view my hours and compare it to my actual visits because I believed I had more hours. After asking the front desk clerk she mentioned I had a lot less than what I thought and I brought it to her attention. She sounded confrontational as I explained to her what happened. She said to me as if she was talking to a person in the street: why are you mad at me for, it’s not my fault you lost all those hours. You should have paid your membership and not let it expire.” I said to her “tone it down” and she replied “you tone it down”. I said “I need to talk to someone that can fix my issue because I’m not about to lose all that money… how would you feel if you lost $900?” She said “it’s not my fault, I wasn’t even here when this happened.” And I repeated “I need to talk to some that can fix my problem” she said “my manager will be here on Wednesday, when she gets back I’ll tell her and she can look into this”. For which I replied “ I am not leaving until this gets resolved so please call your manager now” and she said “but she’s off, I can’t call her on her day off” Well, you get the story… that went on for a few until she finally called her manager who actually wasn’t off. Her manager told her how to resolve it and told her where to look for the notes. In the end I had to apologize before leaving but I felt she should had apologized first for yelling at me even though I was right. I wasn’t asking something that wasn’t mine, I wasn’t asking something for free, I wasn’t asking for any special favors. I was asking for what I had paid for. Her final remark was “ you’ll only be able to use these hours within a year, after that they expire for real.” I did receive a text message that night that my hours had been returned to my account.
