  It's one thing after another with this location! Just had one of the worst experiences EVER there yesterday. Was told there is no manager around and that all of them have been off for over a week. So i hope this message gets to you. Elliot is great - he is the ONLY reason i stay with massage envy. Here's what happened. On Feb 26th I was sent a text asking if I wanted to book a massage. So I did. I booked it for 3/17 at 6:45. I also booked a facial in that same text thread for 3/24. The person from ME responds "Ok, perfect! We have you locked in for both appointments". So I show up yesterday for my massage and guess who doesn't have an appointment? You guessed it, me. So i had her check if my facial appointment for monday was in the system and guess what? correct again - it wasn't! The women at the desk just said I'm going to figure out who sent this text to you and make them apologize. I'm sorry, but that doesn't help fix my scheduling situation. Luckily, Elliot had an opening later that evening so I came all the way back and got a massage. Afterwards, I handed the same lady a gift card certificate that I had received via email. She said she couldn't take it. I said 'how can you deny someone using their own gift certificate'? After a bunch of back forth she finally accepted my certificate (why couldn't she do that to begin with). Well it was for $50 so there was still a $25 balance. I handed her another gift certificate, this time it was a $75 GC. She took it and I left because I was so worked up (yet again). On the drive home I thought "well if there was only a $25 balance after I gave her my first GC and then I handed her a new GC for $75, there should be $50 left. So I called back and said there was a balance on that GC she took from me and can she apply it to my account. She no, that she can write my name on it and the next time I came in I would have to ask someone to get it for me to use. I said, um no. So i booked a facial appointment and asked that she credits the $50 she owed me from my GC to that facial. We'll see if that actually happens when I go in on 4/4. WORST FRONT DESK/COSTUMER service ever. I would not be surprise if they actually used up one of my credits for the massage yesterday and then STILL took my gift cards! Every mistake they could have made they did.

  The therapist said she was finished, and when I got up from the table, I realized that I still had 12 minutes remaining. Since my favorite therapist left Lake Ridge Massage Envy to go to another location 30 minutes away, I have tried to give Lake Ridge, which is 12 minutes away, a chance on a few other occasions, which proved to be disappointing.

  Love the ease of booking. But not happy about the $20 additional charge because I’m not an original member at the Lake Ridge location. When I booked, the app mentioned nothing about an additional charge. I loved my therapist but I won’t be back because of the extra charge. I was also told I was good to go (after agreeing to the extra charge) only to be called after I left to either come back or do the payment over the phone. I drove back. Sadly, it’s the last time I will.
