  I wasn’t happy with the overall service. I explained that I usually sleep during my sessions but ended up engaging in conversation with her the majority of the time. All of which she initiated. She asked me if I worked out. She had bad allergies and was sniffling and snorting the majority of the session. She even belched and announced it while I was face up. She did turn to the side to let it out. Her techniques made me have more pain in my neck area. She touched my feet when I told her they were off limits. I was polite because I didn’t want to make things awkward with me being almost naked but I was uncomfortable as much as I tried to allow her to pick up on social cues of me not initiated a conversation and fake snoring.

  Unfortunately, my experience was terrible. I’ve heard so many good stories about the service given at Massage Envy and was excited to finally be able to have the time to come in for a massage. My massage specialist was Rachel, although she seemed very nice, she just didn’t do a good job at massaging. I have to admit I was a few minutes late, but the message was nothing more than what I do when I put my lotion on in the morning. Although, I paid for an extra service, I was told that that payment was just for one body part and only lasted about 2 minutes. I was also told that my feet could only be massages through the sheet. That to me was crazy. How do you do a massage through a sheet. Which only consisted of her basically just holding my feet. It was a crummy experience. I left there angry at the 140.00 spent on a service that I feel like I could’ve done myself. My husband does better than that for free. I went because I heard some good things about the service at Massage Envy in NYC. I guess it’s different at every location because this experience was terrible. I thought I was going to feel revived after the service, unfortunately, I was just angry at the thought of depending so much money on basically nothing.

  Last month I asked to cancel my membership and the front desk associate said they were out of forms but she would have the manager email. Never happened. This month I requested the same thing and she said they were still out of forms so I asked to speak have the manager email me this time and she asked what it was in regard to. I kid you not. Then she explained that she wouldn’t be able to put my account on a freeze and I told her that I didn’t want a freeze and that I just wanted to cancel the membership. She said that the manager couldn’t cancel it either.

  Set up 90 minute session online and had to change to 60 minute session so provider could go to lunch. She never said good bye or thank you for your business or tip and did not even offer water afterward.
