My massage therapist was not very good. She seemed rushed, annoyed, and did a lot of touching that was unfocused and kind of angry in a way. I did somehow feel a bit more relaxed afterward, as some of it was ok. She did some things that were highly uncomfortable though, such as rubbing over knots with a lot of pressure repeatedly, pushing my shoulders down so that my I felt a bit strangled while facing down, and brushing against by breasts (which I've never had happen before). She never said my name, and was rude when telling me how to turn over. She haphazardly placed a washcloth on my face after I turned onto my back (which I've also never had anyone do before). Quite frankly, it was the most unprofessional massage I've ever had, and I've gone to many places around the world. I was quiet and trusting the whole time, as I kind of expected it to get better, and/or was simply maintaining patience. At the end, I realized that even though we started 10 min late, she ended on time for an hour. So, when leaving a tip, I left what I thought was 10% ($5) because I assumed the member price was $50. I found out when I checked out that their member price was $70. Well, I still felt the tip was appropriate. The massage therapist burst into the front waiting area and gave the $5 to another worker and said "I don't need this." It was so weird and bad and I thought I might cry right then. I won't be going back to this ME ever again. However, I've had good experiences at ME, so I would still recommend, just not to this location or with the therapist I had.
