  The entire process is expensive, even though I would love to go each month it’s not affordable for me at this time

  I had a 3:00 pm appointment and the massage started 10 minutes late. I know and understand that, that's normal - the first 10 minutes are always used to discuss tension points and allow for getting undressed and settled onto the table. When the massage was over, I was advised to take some time before getting off the table - also normal. It is my personal routine to take 60 seconds laying there to allow for adjustment then another 60 seconds sitting on the side to allow my body to adjust. After the 2 minutes I got up and began to gather my things. I checked my phone and saw that the time was 3:52. Which means the massage ended 10 minutes early. So my 60 minute massage was actually a 40 minute massage. Additionally, I was charged for EMT and RTR10. EMT was done but only briefly and there was no RTR10 done at all. I did not know what either of those were until I was e-mailed my receipt and confirmed the descriptions online. Upon check out, I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip. Because this was a credited and transferred massage from my fiance, the account holder, I did not know what the price of the massage was and told the front desk associate that I would tip whatever 20% of the cost was - despite the shortened massage and avoided key areas of tension. The front desk associate said the 20% tip would be $23, which I paid. Simple math will tell you that $23 is 20% of $115. I didn't think anything of it because I did not know the full cost - until I received my receipt. At Massage Envy and per my receipt, a 60 minute massage is $60 and the EMT and RTR10 (which I didn't receive) are $10 respectively. So that is an $80 total. 20% of $80 is $16 not $23. I'd argue that between the shortened massage, charges for services not received, and incorrect tip information, that this is dangerously close to fraud. I will wait to hear back from Massage Envy before taking any further steps. If something is not done or remedied I will be pursuing this further.

  Every one is so friendly. The atmosphere is relaxing. And I have the Best Massage therapist in Waco working on me.

  It was way too cold in the room for me to relax. I told the lady doing my massage and she said they do that cause they get hot while they work. That’s fine I guess but it made me very uncomfortable. Wish it had been more relaxing for me. I couldn’t wait to get out of there. The massage was great. Her pressure was exactly what I asked for.
