There were a few things that would have made my experience better. 1) My appointment was supposed to be rescheduled. When I spoke with the front desk, they gave me a date for my new appointment . When I arrived at my new appointment time, I was told that was someone else’s slot and I was not rebooked at all. I had to get rebooked for the next day for the mix up. I was comped for my new appointment, but still charged because the front desk associate said she didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to be charged. 2) I was supposed to have the feet detox treatment, the front desk associate said she added it on, however, the massage therapist said she didn’t see it and was an able to provide it for me. I believe the front desk and massage associates need more communication when adding on services that the massage therapist is not aware of. That could have been handled of the front desk associate let the massage therapist know she was adding a service, right before my appointment started. 3) The manager told me 3 times my visit would be comped due to the appointment mishap. However, the manager did not leave that in the notes. There were 2 instances where the front desk girls had to call the manager to validate my story, he said he would approve it and it took over a month, multiple follow up phone calls to the manager, and a complaint to HR for my refund to be approved. I wouldn’t be this upset at this situation if the manager approved the comped visit before I was serviced, or atleast left some communication to the front desk associate who charged me. Overall, all of these situations could have been avoided with proper communication and I was more stressed with this place than relaxed.
