  Too much turnover - every time I find someone I like, they leave. Yesterday’s massage was fine. The music was weird. I am happily married, but I imagine the wedding waltz could be triggering for some people. Also even though I wasn’t triggered, kinda weird to be naked and massaged by a complete stranger while a string quartet is playing Can’t Help Falling In Live With You.

  Recently had an appointment with Ashley and the day i was there she was not feeling well ( allergies) so having said that it definitely could have affected my time with her. She started with me face up and sat at my head and worked on my upper back around my neck area for an unusually longer time than normal at least 20 minutes about 15 minutes longer than i would have like, The rest of my massage was a very light rub rather than medium to firm which is what i asked for and again she may have just not felt well. By the time she got to my back where most of the massages i have had over the last 15 years tend to focus more time on i think that was about 20 minutes max. And again very light rub. Ping who i have had before does an incredible job and would probably be a great trainer for others especially if there are new. Ashley was very personable and i probably should have mentioned all this there to her but it’s a little awkward for me. Ashley did work the entire time so tipped her well and she has lots of potential but may just need some time and leadership from ping or even Patrick.

  I am disappointed that the Green Hills Massage Envy location in Nashville charges its clients an additional fee if Green Hills is not the home location. I was told of the upcharge after my massage. The person who checked me out said the notice is in the reminder appointment text. I pulled up all my reminder texts and did not see it. However, I was told the “language” in the text serves as the notification. The reminder text does NOT state the amount. It says that the customer should call the Green Hills location. The person on the front desk said I was charged an upcharge because I was not paying the full rate of $85. I feel like I was penalized because of my locked in rate. She also said that was standard practice at all Massage Envy locations. I called other locations and they have never heard of upcharging the client. I’m disappointed in the way Green Hills is manipulating the clients to pull in more money.
