- Rating 3.0I’ve had good experiences with Massage Envy at another location out-of-state but this was the first time here. I typically go to another spa but this location was the only one with availability on the day I needed it. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and efficient. The therapist, however, does not see to enjoy his job at all and has very little skill and “bedside manner.” I’ve had numerous massages over the years and they all follow a pretty similar pattern but this one was completely unexpected. No introduction when I met him, and the conclusion of the massage was abrupt without “finishing up” strokes and ended with with an “I’ll meet you outside.” Every therapist I’ve ever met either recommended water or offered water at the end of the service. Not this one. He was completely uninterested in engaging with me. He really needs to be retrained in both customer service and massage technique. There was no behavior on my part that would have caused him to be irritated besides me correcting the pronunciation of my name, which I did light-heartedly. Maybe he was having a bad day or had other things on his mind besides client care, but you don’t let that show when you’re with a client. Maybe other therapists are fine there, but I doubt I’d return.
