  Steph is wonderful. She is very knowledgeable about the treatments and products used in the skin care offerings. Ive done the microdermabrasion and chemical peel and have been very happy with the experience and the results.

  There was too much downtime. I realize there needs to be time for prep/undressing and dressing, but after a slow discussion on expectations, and the therapist coming back in the room, it was probably more like 40 minutes of massage for a 60 minute appointment. I definitely wouldn’t recommend the hot stone treatment here. I’ve had it before at other competitor locations and it was heaven. But Massage Envy doesn’t have a good handle on this treatment yet. My massage therapist was rated at medium to firm, but she really seemed to struggle even at the light pressure. I’ve had plenty of massages (I usually go twice per year for the last 10 years or so) and this was probably the second worst one. There was no long strokes, everything seemed rushed. I just didn’t enjoy it at all. Right when something started feeling good, she moved on to the next area. And way too much time was spent on my legs, even though I didn’t ask for any massage on my legs.

  First impressions matter and when I went the other day for my 530 massage apt it was my first visit there. There were 3 people at the counter and no one acknowledged me to an awkward degree me for over 5 minutes and when they did they called me someone else. When I told them my name they said that they called me to cancel because the person that was supposed to massage me went home sick. They called me at 3:46 less that an hour before I should have been there. I had to give my credit card info in case I cancelled less than 24 hours it would be 50% charge. No one really apologized and just went back to talking amongst them selves. I totally understand people get sick it is flu season but in the spirit of customer service and first visit wasn't great. I did reschedule and she asked me if I wanted to add anything which in my mind should have been offered for my late notice cancellation. I did reschedule and had my massage which after dressing and talking amounted to around 45 minutes, she ended 5 minutes early and I was her last client. I routinely get massages monthly and have never had my paid time used for dressing interviewing and so on...I was there 20 minutes early.
