I have a ton of experience with massages, receiving 100+ since 2011, and I thought my massage therapist did a great job. She worked on the areas I requested more focus on, pressure was great for me and I was relaxed. I have another session with her that I'm looking forward to. Sorry to say it, but I didn't find the front desk very professional. There was an open bag of chips and a jar of dip that was visible. The front desk associate updated all of my info on the iPad for me, I'm sure that's the protocol here, but I would have preferred to do it myself honestly. After I went to the tranquility room I could hear crunching of chips and some gossip with another employee, probably an esthi or massage therapist, they didn't seem like another front desk associate. After my session I did ask if the 3 month PIF option was available, I learned massage envy no longer does that. She said the only option for a paid in full membership was a 12 month.. which didn't seem right to me. I did sign up for the 6 month membership, but later found out from a massage envy employee at another location that there is a "series pack" which I wasn't told about, I wish I was because I would have rather done that. Maybe they're not offered at this location.. All in all, MT was great- front desk was subpar.
