There are venues that provide a higher end, enjoyable venue. I had an issue with the massage therapist. Also, assumptions were made about my massage needs based on a visit I had 6 months ago... which is odd. I was simply told that I did not need to complete paperwork, but if the session was going to be based on paperwork from month's ago, I would have liked to know. During the massage, and the entire visit, the massage therapist was quick to share things about her personal life. She also was very forthcoming with advice and her opnion, neither of which were solicited or desired. At one point during the massage, after the massage therapist continued and continued to talk, I asked for silence. Either she was self aware, or thought she knew better what my needs were, but ten minutes later she was talking again. She broke the silence to inform me of The 4 Pillars of a Healthy lifestyle that she recommends. And she went on and on about hydration, fitness, activity..... and I did not come for a health consultation. I came for a massage. The therapist did not seem self aware of her own behavior, nor attentive to my (repeated) requests for "silence". Also, I did not ask ANY QUESTIONS to her about herself. Yet, I left knowing that she is a mother, she has gallbladder issues that worsen based on what she eats, I know that she lost a lot of weight last year and how she did it, the types of meds she has been on, and more. Again, it was an inappropriate amount of sharing and it ruined the massage. If I want a nutritionist, I will get one, and I have in the past. This woman knows very little about my mental health, diet, etc. and she was making assumptions and accusations about what my health needs are. VERY ODD.
