- Rating 5.0My therapist, Venian, was fabulous! I would highly recommend a massage from Venian. While the massage experience at Massage Envy was excellent, my interaction with the front desk staff afterward was less satisfactory. During checkout, the computer system did not allow the staff to provide a gratuity for Venian using my gift card, as the system prioritized using the gift card before applying the $20 promotional card. Consequently, the remaining balance was placed on the promotional card, which had a six-day usage period. Although the manager refunded the amount to the gift card, when the staff member reran the transaction, the remaining balance was $8.00, which I began to question when I left the location to obtain cash for Venian’s tip. When I returned, I reviewed the receipt and noticed that the $20 promotional card had not been applied to the gift card. When I inquired about the discrepancy, the front desk staff informed me they lacked the authorization to rectify this issue and offered to return the $20 promo card instead. Since I would not be using the promotional card within six days, I felt dissatisfied with the resolution despite discussions with the staff about customer service. Ultimately, the manager intervened and refunded my $28.00 to the gift card. I had a challenging experience with the front desk, which was quite disappointing after enjoying a lovely massage. I really hope no one else has to go through what I did. Because of this, I’m hesitant to return to Massage Envy on Robinhood in Winston Salem.
