  There are a few reasons for my rating. The most important reason is that I have been in pain since my massage. I filled out the customer profile and explained in person that I broke my ankle last year, had been in PT, and am currently in acupuncture due to the ankle swelling more than it should and giving me some problems with flexibility. Those answers and that discussion should have been the cue to either go lightly on this area or avoid the area all together. Instead, the masseuse wiggled my ankle, flexed it, rubbed it, etc. It has been swollen and has been painul since, whereas before the massage, acupuncture was working well, the swelling was decreasing, and my flexibility was returning. I am currently back to pre-acupuncture issues. I was asked how the massage was after the session and I did say it was good, but I didn't want to insult the masseuse and I didnt yet feel the pain I've experienced since that night. Additionally, the masseuse spoke a lot during what was supposed to be a relaxing massage. I would venture to say that 95% of customers would prefer a silent session. I was hesitant to fill out this survey realizing this is someone's livelihood, however, the worse my ankle feels the more compelled I have felt to reach out and let someone know that perhaps some guidelines should be in place for how things are handled once a customer says that they are in treatment for an issue.

  I've been going to ME for a while, but really like who I go to now. Alex in Metuchen takes my lead as far as a conversation, so it's quieter and more relaxing for me. He also started during a really diffucult time and understanding that quiet was beneficial for me has made a big impact on understanding that I like some solitude. It calms my nervous system and I think is good for overall circulation. I wish that monthly massages were included with health insurance packages as a first step to implementing a more holistic approach for healthcare.

  The staff at massage envy are so welcoming and genuine. Blair is amazing! I recommend every one try her out for a facial. She is super knowledgeable and insightful about any and all products and strives to really make sure your skin is always taken care of!

  They take your money and tell a bunch of lies, don't give you the masus that you make the appoint for.My experience yesterday is beyond repair, I will never buy massage sessions in advance, or either go back when my existing subscription ends.

  I had bruises and bubbles all over my face. A high concentration og glycolic acid is applied without a patch test and the esthetician is unable to understand the issue upon multiple times of telling that is burning. I have already raised a complaint on this. I need an explanation from higher management
