The massage. It was very fast, my muscles were shocked rather than soothed, the technician kept pinching the backs of my triceps and saying I was sensitive, she didn’t use enough lotion so at times there was actual friction between our skin. There was no music, so I impromptu played my free Spotify app which had very loud ads because I did not anticipate having to soothe myself. The room smelled like cleaning solution rather than aromatherapy. The room wasn’t ready so part of my massage time the tech spent reducing the lights. I asked for a full body massage at the start and despite that my tech continually asked if I wanted individual areas of my body done, then when I flipped over she only did my back and did a few pats on my legs so that I was entirely unbalanced. Then when I got up and left the tech was waiting immediately outside of my room kind of hovering and it felt awkward when I hadn’t even fully stepped out of the room and she was right there. Then the bill came and it was $120 for a 60 minute session- double what I pay at other massage studios that leave me feeling relaxed. I will NEVER go back. Worst massage I have ever had. Hands down.
