It is not my recent experience that could have been better, it is overall issues with our membership as far as obtaining appointments with a therapist that can do the type of pressure we need and cancellations. My husband and I have both had several cancellations, some with less than 24 hrs notice. I understand that life happens - on BOTH sides of the situation. Clients pay for appointments cancelled "last minute". Massage Envy has never offered us anything other than a, "We're sorry for the inconvenience." Recently, I found out (by accident) that ALL of my husband's massages for the next 5 months will be cancelled due to the therapist "retiring" due to injury. We apparently weren't going to be notified until 48 hours before his upcoming appointment????? I had to spend quite a bit of time looking for another appointment for him. I tried 9 locations! The day after I booked it, I got a call saying THAT therapist would no longer be working at ME so another cancellation!!!! The worst part is, with these being franchises, individuals cannot contact corporate to communicate frustrations so the issues simply continue.
