First my technician told me how wonderful my skin looked for someone my age...but since she needed to sell something more, she "recommended" a product that was waiting for me on the counter when I had finished my facial. The person who checked me out told me my total was the amount for the facial AND the product. Only when I told her I had no intention of buying any products did she take away the bow wrapped box and take money off the amount "owed". Listen, I am not dumb. I've been washing my face with simple soap and moisterizer for years and there is no way I'm paying for overpriced products that in no way will improve my skin. I felt manipulated and it tainted my whole experience. Next time I will go to a salon where they do not upsell products as a way to make money. I honestly felt very sorry for the technician as I know she was just doing her job and trying to make the company money. Manipulate someone else - it won't be me!
