  My experience with Darrick was great, but my partner who had Malik was unsatisfied with his service. We had a couples massage. He wasn't sure if Malik was uncomfortable massaging men, but Malik seemed inexperienced and/or hesitant while performing the full body massage.

  My experience with the massage therapist Melissa was horrid! I love Massage Envy and decided to go to the Birmingham location for a 60 minute. Huge mistake! I will start off with the front desk staff. They were very nice and personable. After that things changed. Melissa didn’t start my massage until 6:13. I have no idea what the hold up was but she started by talking about what I want and what she does. Once she started she did none of that. I was uncomfortable the entire time. I started flat face down on the table with no cradle. She saw I was uncomfortable. I was just hoping it got better soon. When she massage she would slide down at the end. So awkward, she then asked if I wanted a wedge but she would have to stop the massage to go get it. So let’s just get this over with because I’ve never been flat face down on the table without the face cradle. Her transition from one position to next was like she was an amateur. She put a hot towel on me and I was like huh??? (To myself) I just want to get this over with at this point. She never did nothing I mentioned in our initial conversation. I never complain which is why I let so much slide but it was horrible. The cradle was uncomfortable just uuugh freaking bad! I’m going back to Kristoff in Bloomfield. He listens to what you want and deliver. I said I wanted my hands massage and she skipped that. I said I would like my surgery scar massaged and she didn’t do that….horrible I’m ***** because I wasted my money. Stood at checkout and waited for someone to come to the desk. Its after 7:00 pm why do I have to go find you??? Never going back

  My experience with my massage therapist was very enjoyable, but unfortunately the whole experience was tainted due to my exchange with reception. The only reason I even had an appointment was because my mother-in-law scheduled it for me and paid in advance as a wedding gift. Reception had no record that she paid or even that the appointment had been rescheduled due to the therapist calling out on the original date. The receptionist was adamant they don’t accept prepayment and that my mother-in-law would not have been charged. I had no choice but to pay myself and after speaking to my MIL, confirmed her card HAD been charged two weeks prior. The whole thing was embarrassing for me and mismanaged by Massage Envy. I can only hope that now they will refund her.

  She talked too much and I couldn’t relax. I asked her to focus on certain areas and told her he desired pressure I wanted. She didn’t listen

  We signed up for a membership while in Chattanooga even though we live i. Detroit. It seemed like a good bargain being able to redeem them anywhere in the country. Overall we have had good experiences.
