  The only plus was ease of scheduling - last minute and online, and that price is low. However you get what you pay for. All around staff service and the actual massage service were disappointing. I waiting in the lobby after checking in until 2:09 (service time was 2pm) before a staff member said “oh I’m so sorry we forgot to have you fill out the forms.” There were 5 staff members at the desk - and I was one of only 2 people in the lobby. I was not brought back into the room until after 2:10 and then I was back at the desk for payment at 2:58 - for a 60 minute massage. Poor service overall. Not to mention at 2:08 I listened to them call a client who was not there for his 2:00 saying they were waiting, I should have said at that point - doesn’t even matter if you’re here, Massage Envy isn’t ready. When I filled out the forms I indicated my back, shoulders and neck were in pain/ tight and what brought me in. I said I had no issue with other areas being massaged. I didn’t know that meant all areas would get equal time. Most of my time was not spent on my back - in fact my lower back was hardly massaged. One knot in my shoulder was worked well. It did not need my legs or face rubbed for so long - I asked for a firm massage and frankly I give myself a better massage applying my own lotion after a shower. Waste of time getting a “massage” like that. Lastly, I had added aromatherapy to my service which was completely skipped.

  Massages are great. I don’t agree with the monthly membership. It is very difficult to book appointments and you only have 2 months to use any backlog of time once you discontinue. Those hours are paid for by me. I should own those in perpetuity. If you do not want to honor them, they should be refunded. B/c of that, it is difficult for me to recommend Massage Envy.

  Melissa Beth Hough is an excellent therapist and my sessions with her are very helpful. I also appreciate how friendly and accommodating the staff are.

  Loved the interaction with the receptionist; she was pleasant and very helpful. My massage was excellent in every way. I felt so relaxed and could have stayed there.

  Fouad is a 10 but the price hike is too high and unfair. Why do I need to pay $15 extra vs. Cambridge 2 miles away???
