- Rating 3.5Message Envy in Wilmette is professional. The manager recommended this therapist. I scheduled numerous appointments with her. However, she is not the right person for me. I asked for an upper body massage only. No. 1, I only had 60 minutes. No. 2, I had fallen earlier in the day and was recovering from my injuries. I have Chron's and current see a doctor for Constipation--both of which cause me intestinal cramps. As a result, I asked the therapist massage this area. Her response: I don't massage this area. If she had looked at my past history, she would know that this is a standard request; one that I've made for over 15 years at Massage Envy. Apparently, massaging my chest is also "out of bounds" even though I lift weights every day and would have benefited from this service. I will be cancelling all of my previously-scheduled appointments with this therapist. As well, she repeatedly worked certain areas twice. It appears that she wasn't confident is her work during the first pass. My massage should be about me, not her.
