Calm environment though you can often use a shower room and relaxation room for the same cost at other places (which I didn’t need this time but would go into selecting a place in the future). The masseuse also was confused by my request for additional shoulder support; she accommodated but made it clear that she had never heard of that request. I’ve never encountered that before. Most importantly, I received a gift card as a gift but when I attempted to pay, was told it had never been loaded. I have no doubt that the person who gave it to me did pay for it - it was tucked into a ME card holder with another promo card that was loaded. But since it was a gift and I didn’t want to the gifter to feel bad (also doubting she still had the receipt), there was no way for me to prove this and I had to pay $100 that I hadn’t planned on.
