- Rating 4.5My therapist wore gloves during my massage. The friction started to bother my back. I could also smell the gloves. Part of why I get massages is for touch. I also requested firm pressure & the pressure was light. The therapist is very nice & sweet. She wears a mask too so it seems like touch & closeness is challenging. The front desk area leads a lot to be desired. We regularly get massages & it is hit and miss what our check out will be like. One time we waited for 10 minutes as the staff was helping another customer. Understandable but at least acknowledge us. I walked around the corner to ask the additional staff in the office to help us. She did and was nice but after standing there for another 5 minutes I finally asked what we were waiting for- she said I am not sure we are good. I asked my husband if he was confused as to what happened & even he was off put by it. In addition one of the front staff smoke cigarettes. She is one of the sweetest staff but walking into a lobby that smells like cigarettes and seeing signs posted about being fragrance free is counterproductive.
