- Rating 1.0My friends have tried ME before and offered me a Gift Certificate. I have had my Gift Certificate for over two years as I could not get an appointment scheduled. I asked several times but last Sunday I was upset because I wanted to schedule an appointment due to a back ache and again there was no availabilities until over two weeks later. I told the manager I wanted my money back. She suggested that I be put on the wait list (I have been on your wait list so many times) so she said that she would personally look after me to see if they could get me scheduled. The manager called on Wednesday offering a facial. Who wants a facial with a bad back? I thought she was kidding me. She told me to give her a couple more days. The manger called me on Thursday offering me two appointments. I got scheduled. The process of check in went very well and I was very explicit describing to the massage therapist my problem and she seemed to understand that I needed special attention to lower back. I had a 90 minute massage which was a frustrating experience as I asked the therapist during the massage, "When are you going to work on my lower back?" and she continued to tell me, "I am working my way to the lower back!" Well, my lower back and glutes received about 5 minutes of work! Please note in the beginning before the treatment started she asked me, " how much time do you want put into your lower back?" and I told her. " over 50% of the massage." I said,"I don't care if you don't touch my upper back or legs I just want to make sure you get my lower back!" So, did I get a good massage, yes in all areas but where I needed it! Did this happen because your company has restricted the therapist from doing any excessive massage to troubled areas because of concern of law suit? Needless to say I walked out very disappointed!!! Please understand, the therapist acted like she was afraid to touch my lower back and glutes. She offered a decent massage but did not listen or offer any relief to my lower back through massage and she new that was why I had scheduled the service!
