- Rating 1.5This was by far the worst experience that I’ve had with Massage Envy yet. First, the gentleman that went before me had such immense body odor that the room and surrounding hallways smelled terrible. I was promptly ushered into his room after he had just finished his massage, and I requested another room. After a brief moment of waiting, I was placed in the room next-door, and the smell still was strong. Unfortunately, it did also seep into the clothing of the massage therapist that was working on me and, I wasn’t about to tell her that she carried his odor. Additionally, I paid for a 60 minute massage. I got 47 minutes of hands-on massage and took screenshots of the start and end times. I’m very dissatisfied. Lastly, she very forcefully shoved my leg up into a frog like posed to help stretch me, but gave me no warning and as a result, I’m in a considerable amount of pain today from that pose that was so forceful. I’m considering canceling my membership. When the front desk associate asked how my session was, I told her that it was not great and she did not show any empathy or sympathy whatsoever. She didn’t seem like she could care less.
- Rating 3.0I have had very good luck with the Peachtree Corners location; however, the Dunwoody location is absolutely horrible. The owner implied I couldn’t use other Massage Envy locations. I have a wonderful massage therapist at Peachtree Corners and am very happy with this location. I just wish the Dunwoody location did not get any credit for my membership.
