Its becoming increasingly difficult to schedule an appointment with my therapist, the same person I've been going to for the last 2 years for unexplainable reasons. Prior to that I was with the same therapist at this location for 8 years. After chatting with other members, Ive come to discover why. What used to be a quick 5 minute phone call and could be make a week prior to see her, now has taken over 15 minutes to find a time spot and I am having to book a month or more in advance just to see her. This is unacceptable and from what I am hearing from other members, this location and its management team needs to aquire more therapists to accommodate the clients and to stop pinching out those of us with established therapists to make way for those who have lost thier therapist in efforts to "save their membership". Somehow their money is more important than mine of the last 10 years. I have over 11 credits that I can hardly use due to the increased scheduling challenges I experience each time I call, and of course have ZERO options of transferring those to a gift card to keep the money in house but stop my account. They will gladly " freeze" my account for $10 a month to rope me along, but whats the point if I cant get in? This has been an issue for far too long. I love my therapist dearly, but if it weren't for her and the insane amount of credits that I have that Massage Envy so happily bills me for each month, I would have left once Shayna did. Its gone downhill since then. Also- this Tippy app is insulting. There has to be some illegal aspects to charging me the customer a fee for leaving gratuity on the CARD I HAVE ON FILE THAT YOU BILL EACH MONTH, which with my background in the restaurant industry leads me to believe that you give it to the employees on their checks, which they then pay taxes on. Shame on you. So no, I do not recommend Massage Envy to anyone. I recommend my therapist but with fair warning of this company's shady practices and treatment of their staff.
