- Rating 1.0After our arrival at the Massage Envy in Stuart FL, my wife and I were sat in the quiet area. Then we were told to go to a certain room and wait for our therapist. 2 woman entered the room shortly after. They looked confused and asked “are you Dawn and Richard?” We smiled and said no. The older one of the two female therapists very rudely and overly assertive said “you can’t be in here, you need to get out and go to the waiting area” we informed her we were told to be in that room and there must have been a mix up. She maintained her bad attitude and sat us in the waiting area. I went to talk to the front about how rude the woman was and was abruptly interrupted by a different female therapist who told my wife and I to follow her. I’m an Army Vet and I can’t hear very well. So I asked “you want me to follow you that way?” Verifying the instructions. This therapist was very rude as well restating “yeah I said this way” the male therapist was very nice. But when I told him where I needed the most attention on my back he didn’t listen. I asked for my lower back to be worked on most of the time. He work mainly on my shoulders. My wife was there for her shoulder pain and I was there for lower back pain. Overall I was very disappointed with the experience. Most of the staff I met was unfriendly and rude. I was in so much pain I just wanted empathy and compassion. I just left stressed and out $200. My back still hurts.
