  Yesterday I had a massage with “Chris” and I walked out after 10 minutes. I’m thinking about cancelling my membership. It made me feel uncomfortable. First, he was about 5+minutes late. He brought me in the room rushed. Kept sighing. Made me feel like I was an inconvenience. He did not know what he was doing. I’ve had enough massages where I can tell. The first thing he did was apply an immense pressure to my spine. It grossed me out and the entire remaining time I worried he was going to hurt me. He fumbled around on my back as though he had no method. He sighed like he didn’t want to be there. I interrupted after 19 minutes and told him I’m done. I left. He shouldn’t work there.

  There are some masseurs more experienced and welcoming than others and I think asking for the gratuity is under so much pressure. Tipping masseurs should be only if they deserved it . As a Licensed massage therapist and regular client for massages. My last appointment with Christopher was just okay and when we finished the massage didn’t use the hot hotel and my body was oily. When is ask him if he use hot towels his response was take it and clean by yourself massages My last appointment

  I have had a Massage Envy membership since 2005 and I can tell you that I’ve had no issues at all with all the different locations I’ve been to except for the one that is the closest to my house and the most convenient for me. I Must first and foremost state that the issue that I have has nothing to do with the therapist and everything to do with the management. the Pompano Beach location on US-1north of McNab Is poorly run and the manager That was there around the time I went at 6 PM is extremely unprofessional, Lacks common courtesy and frankly, Just representation of that said person makes me feel like Massage Envy has really gone down the drain as far as a luxury. At this specific time, she got into an argument with me because I am used to and most comfortable with checking out right as I walk in. I always leave a very nice tip for the therapist no matter the service, but by doing this, it allows me to make a judgment about my service prior to checking out, which could deter me from giving that nice tip that I do. Not saying that I did, but just a thought. That specific location compared to the 17th St. Fort Lauderdale location, which is a half hour away from me is like a Motel 6 versus a four seasons. The second closest location to me is in Deerfield Beach east and I will also not go there because the last time I went, there was a cockroach that ran underneath me while my eyes were open on the table. If I didn’t have so many prepaid available, which frankly, I wouldn’t have If I didn’t have to travel over a half hour to go to a decent location, I would definitely cancel my membership.

  I did not feel I was treated as a valued customer when the front seat personnel is trained to harass the gust to increase gratuity. We pay a monthly amount of 80 per month and we always tip accordingly. The guest should not be told there is a tipping requirement.
