- Rating 1.0On my first massage, I paid an $80 member rate discounted from $110. I was asked if I wanted to leave a 20% tip and I agreed. The 20% was applied on the original $110 price. I found this not to be in good faith and felt it was sneaky. On my second visit, the online price for my 1 hr session was $70, yet my contract is for $80 which leads me to believe I am being charged extra on my contract. My overall vibe from Massage envy is they run a very deceptive and predatory business.

However, I was unable to communicate properly with the Massage Therapist because I speak a minimal amount of Spanish, and it appeared as though she did not speak any English, nor could she understand what I was saying. It was very disappointing to pay $80 for a massage and not get the areas where I was wanting extra work, addressed due to a communication issue.
