- Rating 5.0I have always received the greatest and most attentive of care from the massage therapists at MASSAGE ENVY! I just had my first experience with Alma, who was perfect for my massage needs.
- Rating 1.0My appointment was at 10. I arrived at 9:45, and waited in the quiet area until 10:03 until I was called. Martha allowed me to undress and left me in the room for another 4 minutes and the massage started at 10:07. The massage itself was fine, but she did not massage my upper thighs, upper arms, face, and scalp. I requested focus on my lower back and shoulder but if I paid for a full body massage, I expect a full body massage. At the end, there was oil all over my shoulders and arms and was given a warm towel. I guess I was expected to wipe it down myself? But I’ve had many massages elsewhere and I’ve never had to do that. When the massage ended, it was 10:57. With the massage starting late, and me paying for a full hour, I thought it would end by 11:07. I was gypped a whole 10 minutes. I have a picture of the clock when the massage ended. I remember being stressed with the massage starting late too because I had another appointment to attend right after at 11:30. Overall, it was an un-relaxing experience. I haven’t had a massage in a long time and was looking forward to my appointment for a couple weeks. But I’m thoroughly disappointed and won’t be recommending Massage Envy to anyone. I’ve had massage/wellness memberships in the past and was considering getting one prior to the visit, but no longer.
