The massage therapist asked me what area I would like to focus on. I said my legs. I came in specifically because my legs were tight. In the 90 minute massage, he worked mostly on my back, and barely touched my legs at all. When he was applying oil, he was slopping it on me - I didn't feel like a person at all. It felt careless. We also started late and ended early. He stopped rather abruptly - it's like he realized the time or something? I don't want to put down the massage therapist - he was friendly and I don't want to leave negative feedback about him personally. I was just disappointed with his work. I came with a friend, who is an ME member, with the intent to join as a member as well. He admitted that he was disappointed by his massage as well - he said that this massage experience was one of the worst he ever had. He mentioned this to the front desk person, she said that they have been receiving similar feedback about that massage therapist. That was so disappointing for us to hear. If you have been receiving bad feedback about one of your staff, why hasn't anything been done? Why did we pay full price for a service from someone that has been receiving complaints? Overall it was disappointing experience for both of us.
