  Was charged extra for ‘aromatherapy’ but all I got was scented lotion. That is not aromatherapy.

  This was the worst massage i have ever had in my life, i left sobbing it was so terrible. 1 minute spent on my back super light (when that was the whole reason i was there) then the rest of them time with her arm bone hurting me the whole time as the massaging tool and feeling like my limbs were being pulled in hurtful ways. Horrific and asked for a manager to call me immediately and still have not heard anything.

  I’ve been a member since March 2023. I’ve been pleased until yesterday. My therapist did a good job and I told her so. Unfortunately, even after 24 hours of leaving I’m so taken back by her verbal reaction to the tip and handed her. I handed her $10 because this time of year money is tight, taxes are due. I go there to relieve stress and after walking out she made me feel like *****! After I handed the tip to her she looked at me and said, “90 minutes” as she waved my hard earn money. I said yes. I thanked her as she was working on me and told her how much I appreciated her work and would book her again. Well after the way she treated me I won’t be booking her again. I’m generally a good tipper but my finances don’t allow me to tip high. Next time I will use the tip envelopes just so I don’t feel like ***** even two days after my massage. This is why I’m rating my experience a 0

  The massage therapist didn’t respond to my requests to lighten the pressure, and was using deep tissue techniques (lots of elbow!) that left me in more pain during and after the massage than before going in. :(

  My experience with this location is not the issue. In fact, my visits are always great. What does pleases me is that I originally signed up with Massage Envy at another San Jose, California location and for some reason Massage Envy will not allow me to switch my primary location to this Massage Envy location which is the location I attend every month. I have had numerous problems using your app which my current primary location refuses to assist with. Therefore I can’t use your app to book my appointments. I very much dislike my primary location and no longer wish to communicate with them, but you have forced me to because you won’t switch it to the location which I actually attend every month.
