  I had gotten a gift card for my birthday from my friend for massage envy, and something that was supposed to be relaxing ended up being completely stressful. I made a scheduling mistake and there was zero forgiveness for it. I was excited and accidentally scheduled an appointment the next day (mind you it was late at night and I have total pregnancy brain), instead of Sunday when I really wanted to go. My personal card was then charged at full rate because I was a no call no show and I didn’t even realize it. I spoke to the front desk person and they said I could come and get 2 services done at a discounted rate and my gift card would cover it. She misspoke. She made a mistake and I made a mistake but she could easily take her word back. She said if I addd a facial it would be an additional $15. So I said sure, you guys already took my money so I’ll come in for a massage and a facial. I ended up have to pay an additional $35 for the facial (with an added eye treatment that I didn’t ask for but only saw on my receipt after the fact). And then of course I had to tip twice now. The customer service was just terrible and unforgiving. I ended up paying over $200 for something that was supposed to be a gift all because of an honest mistake.

  Most of my friends don't make a lot of money so they may not be able to afford this each month. I doubt you can lower the prices. The economy isn't great right now.

  The front desk person greeted us with a welcoming smile. She checked us in quickly and was courteous. It all the years of visiting Massage Envy, which is about 10 years, she was the most professional and engaging I’ve ever met. Her amazing service set the tone for my massage with Teresa. Teresa is my favorite therapist because she focuses on my massage during the entire time. She is consistent in doing her technique. I feel I get a high quality of a massage with her.
