    Every massage received has been subpar. The massage yesterday was no exception. The therapist showed up late to start and then gave me less than 50 minutes. In addition he didn’t listen to what I wanted even though I spoke up during the massage. Also I have had a ton of massages in my life and that one was probably the worst.

    I called to ask if pregnant members are able to receive the back facial, and the staff member said they would check with the aesthetician and call back but never did. I would get weekly texts offering available appointments with past providers, and at one point I was interacting with one of the staff members and asked the same Q but never got an answer. After a few weeks, I called and the front desk staff member that scheduled my appointment gave three pieces of misinformation that negatively affected my visit. First of all, they went and checked with someone who informed them pregnant members can have back facials, and they said microderm will use one of my credits as long as it’s 60 min. It was a male staff member, not sure of the name. When I arrived for my appointment, the front desk checked me in for my back facial but when meeting the aesthetician she informed me this was not possible. We therefore switched to microderm. I was very happy with Claudia who performed the service. I also had a prenatal massage booked with Sam, according to the person who booked me, but day of the appointment, someone named John performed the service, which was confusing. A back facial/massage/microderm 3h session therefore turned into a 2h microderm/masage session at the price of 3 credits. No one at the location offered me water at any time which used to be standard after each service. Very discouraging overall.

    Expensive. When I first became a member they said the cost would never increase. During the pandemic lockdown, they refused to stop deducting monthly fees. I will never forget or forgive that.

    The manager Trish was absolutely unprofessional, rude, and not helpful. No one. Cares whatsoever about their job, it is a joke. My home location of La Jolla shut down without any notice, leaving me with 2 vouchers that I wasn’t able to use in Time before my membership ended. There was zero communication and when I called the Point Loma office to schedule they said I still had the 2 vouchers active. After my massage, she said I did not have active vouchers, so there was a discrepancy and I was mislead and bamboozled. Next when I tried to get to the bottom of this I asked for a number to call and email to contact to clear up my account and get my last voucher, the manager said she does not know the email for corporate. How does someone that is a manager not have information about their business and company? Is is absurd and I have zero respect for this shady business.
