  I do want to mention that the front person was nice, knowledgeable, and professional. She greeted me and spoke well about the massage therapist. Unfortunately my experience with Gary was not good at all. I paid for a 90 minute massage with main complaints regarding my upper back/neck area, and was hoping for a great experience. His technique was very off * He two finger grabbed and wiggled the muscles on top of my shoulders and used a couple fingers to go around my scapula. I could feel him go over the knots and he never fully addressed them. He worked on my neck area, in total, for roughly 10 minutes. * He exposed my breasts by pulling the sheet all the way down to put my arm back under the cover when I was on my back, never verbally informing me that he was going to place my arm under the cover. This ***** me off and I almost got up and left, but was no more than 10-15 minutes into the massage. He knew he was wrong as he never addressed placing my other arm under the covers. I also had to manually pull the sheet up to cover my exposed breast. * He kept touching around shin bones up and down pressing for long periods of time, and without any real massage technique. Overall, this was a horrible experience. I don't feel like he knows what he is doing. He needs to be observed. I feel like he wastes time "mindlessly touching" clients to fulfill the time. And I'm very uncomfortable with being exposed. When the “massage” was finally over, he hid in a room and never came out to thank me/offer water/etc. Therefore, he knew he was wrong. I typically prefer men, as I like that they can provide more pressure, but I will assure you, I will not be coming back because of his was a horrible experience.

  The Massage Envy location on Chastain Road is a well run clinic. From the time you walk in the door, you feel welcome and they attend to your needs. They have several deep tissue therapists at this location and they do an excellent job

  There seems to be high turnover front desk associates. Every time I go for an appointment there are new faces and the customer service continues to go down. Associates seem not to be aware of what's going on, lack listening skills, and I have consistently been given misinformation by multiple associates since starting my membership. There also seems to be no accountability when I have been told incorrect information and I've had to be the one to spearhead resolution which should be the associates or managers job. Every experience with associates is disappointing to say the least. My most recent experience included the following; I spoke with madsion on the phone on the way to my scheduled appointment to see what my options would be for the appointments I had. During this conversation she failed to listen to my initial concerns and questions to the point that I actually had to tell her verbatim, "hey, I don't think you are understanding what I just said". After, repeating my concerns she still didn't give me the correct info which aided in the continued misinformation once I arrived. Then after both of my scheduled appointments Peyton checked me out at the front desk. Peyton was passive aggressive and continued to make faces when asking her simple questions about charges and how It worked to use my credits for the services I received. When Peyton couldn't address a concern I had, Erin then attempted to help, but in the end provided no real resolution or listened to my concerns. I ended up just paying out of pocket for everything just to leave promptly due to the lack of customer service. Sadly, this is just the most recent of continued bad experiences I have had with the associates. With that being said Monica was a doll and Tiana's services are always amazing! I wish the level of customer service and hospitality that the service providers showcase consistently would translate to the associates at the front desk.
