  Everyone was very personable, I was sitting back in the area waiting to go into my room and two ladies walked by once and came back again and stopped and made sure I’ve been taken care of.

  Days and times are usually full. extra fees for transferring paid sessions makes me not want to recommend or give sessions to others that I have earned/paid for. Desk personnel (different all the time now) waited 8 minutes into my paid session time before telling me I should go into back hallway and see if provider was read and so I could be seen. I thought that was their job, and I had never been told that before. If that is the new policy (walk in and go straight back) then they should say that at the appointment time. at over a $1 a minute ($70/50 min) some compensation or make up might be offered. After session, desk service was good. (Different person). Explain what an advanced targeted Therapy session is in your survey.! (insurance, pre-planned, complaint driven, injury rehab....)

  My massage yesterday was wonderful! I am using up gift cards that I earned from my previous membership at Northgate, which was closed. The only reason I would be hesitant to fully recommend is that previously it had been hard for me to schedule in my area. However, when I tried again just recently I was easily able to schedule an appointment. I know some of all this is due to the pandemic and staffing shortages.

  The massage was so brutal and aggressive. The therapist didn’t seem to understand what I asked for or understand my feedback and requests throughout the massage. There was definitely a language barrier and I think that massage envy should supply translation services for their employees who don’t speak English, so that they can communicate with clients to provide appropriate services. I don’t know what this massage was, but it was unlike any I’ve ever received. I cannot sit back in a chair, lay on my back, or anything that puts any amount of pressure on my back because I am so deeply bruised. I didn’t even go into the massage with back pain. I went in with leg and foot pain from working six 12 hour nursing shifts on my feet. In my 90 minute massage she didn’t massage my legs at all and only spent less than 30 seconds per foot. Even though the entire reason I came in was for leg and foot pain, which I told her multiple times. She literally spent the majority of the 90 minutes on my upper back. I’m so raw and deeply bruised now. She also used hot stones on my back, which was not a service I asked for. I felt very beat up and violated after this “massage” and will not be returning under any circumstances.
