It possibly might be the location, but the times I've been to ME, the staff wasn't extremely welcoming, the massages were decent but not amazing (masseuses didn't do the massage in the way I asked, one had long nails that I cringed with every pass down my skin because it hurt, one mostly just rubbed my legs instead of full body, as a usual massage would include). This most recent visit was the worst, so bad of an experience that I gave away the unused gift card I had because I had gone multiple times without much satisfaction, and this was my sign to just walk away. I was there for a 60-minute massage, they took me back 6 minutes late and talked to me about what I wanted done, even though I put it on the form they were supposed to review prior to my appointment to allow the best use of my appointment time, then the massage wasn't followed the way I mentioned I wanted it done anyway. Once the massage started, she chatted at first, which was fine, I chatted back. We got into conversation on and off throughout the massage, even though I typically don't like to talk during massages. Towards the end, she had me roll over and spent only maybe 5 minutes (?) on my neck/scalp - AFTER she had massaged only my upper body while I was facing down on the massage bed. She'd asked me a question, which I was answering. In the middle of me responding, she talked over me, cutting me off, said "that's all the time we have, I'll meet you in the hallway" and abruptly walked out. I looked at the time, and it was 5 minutes short of my appointment start time, which started 6 minutes late already. It was rude to cut me off when chatting, even if she didn't care to hear what I was saying. The hour appointment was mostly unenjoyable and frustrating. Hopefully everyone that is a customer is happy with their services. Unfortunately, I was not happy, and I am no longer a customer.
