Back in August I'd have rated my experience as a 9-10 and recommended you. But a confluence of issues makes it unlikely now. First, my therapist, who is very popular, cancelled at least twice. They put people with later appts. first so I had to wait each time 4-5 weeks to get back in. I build up credits. Then I was hospitalized for 4 1/2 months. Of course the charges kept coming. My husband tried calling from the hospital, but no call backs. Finally he was able to go in and get a suspension of the monthly charges. I went in this week for my first massage, assuming I'd be allowed to use up my credits (6 1/2) before the monthly charges reinstated only to find they would start up June 8! The manager showed no concern or empathy and her only solution was to get facials or something--not why I get therapeutic massage. Then I suggested I cancel and she offered to let me continue my membership for only $20 a month. For nothing. Why would I do that? Oh, because if I cancelled I had only 60 days to use my credits (21 of which I will be out of town!). I felt like ME had covered themselves SO carefully that there was no concern for the customer or for unusual situations--both of which mine were. And. yes, I'm sure all this is in writing somewhere, but after several years of being a member, it would have been nice for them to remind me before I was stuck in this situation. At the least, I would have postponed my first massage until I returned from out of town. So...now I would not recommend anyone get a membership. Too many loopholes all in favor of ME. It makes me sad as I loved my therapist and she helped me a lot.
