The ambiance. There was no aroma therapy, no soothing music, and I had to get on a cold bed, it eventually warmed up, but at that time, were halfway through the massage. To be called a Spa, it's more about the entire experience and this was not Spa Like. The room was not decorated in any form or fashion and it was cold. I was brought back to the "Relaxation room" which served more as a waiting area. I would rate a doctors office waiting area better than this. No music, no pictures, no magazines, no flavored water, no hot tea. What's relaxing about that? The masseu came and got me and with all due respect, her appearance was not professional. Some may say who cares what they look like, again it's about the EXPERIENCE. She was welcoming but not very interactive or warm. Furthermore this was my first time. So I got the member rate. To think I would have to pay $143 for this kind of experience. Highly disappointed. I definitely would not come back. Also of note. It's a 90-minute massage by advertisement, but the initial paperwork and the declothing and clothing is a part of that time. What a rip off! 75min for $143. HIGHLY disappointed. I will say the actual massage itself was perfect, BUT not nearly worth $143. I've gotten $55 massages for a more wholesome experience.
