  Front desk staff needs work. I have had 2 bad experiences with the front desk staff. One time they took down my appointment for the following month and then never put it in the system. I showed up only to be told i was not on for the day. I put it in my phone right when i schedule my appointments. The girl had written it down and never inputted it. Another bad experience happened this last time. I had a gift card to just apply as a credit to my account. The girl said she couldnt do that. I have done that in the past. She asked if i wanted to apply as a tip. I advise yes part of it, but the gift card was too high to do all of it. She then said i was set. I asked--did you credit the rest to the account. she said no i put it all on as the tip like you said. I said no, that is too high of a tip. She then huffed and went to the garbage can to get the card out and fixed it. We ended up settling on me giving as a tip and an add on. The attitude was unacceptable.

  The location was clean and comfortable. The customer service was friendly and helpful. The massage was perfect--the pressure was great!

  I think that the music should be louder during the massage so there’s not as much awkward silence because I like a completely silent massage no talking just the music. I think the aroma therapy should be included with the massage it’s crazy to have to pay $10 or more for it & smelling it for the first 2 seconds. When you pay for an hour or 90 min massage you should get the entire time not 10 mins to taken off the beginning & end for the time that’s given for dressing of undressing. My membership in the beginning was great because it was such a fair price but to have such a huge price increase out of nowhere after 10yrs or more being a member without any notice & having a contract that I had signed that never mentioned an increase that could be done with no notice or warning was the worst experience that the business could have done to its loyal customers. I do love working with Orlando that I have recently have found there to do my massages. Him & Gloria in the Fredericksurg VA location are the only reason I’m still getting massages at this point. They are both wonderful & such an asset to the company. I wish the other things I mentioned would change. Sincerely Lisa

  My therapist talked a lot. It's fine for feed back but she talked about a tattoo/piercer who SA her friends. She then told me she had sensory issues which explained why I didn't get a scalp massage. Wouldn't go back to her but the place is nice. She did address my shoulder after I requested but says she typically wouldn't because she dislocated her shoulder in the past. Got relief from it.

  Scheduling is a nightmare. Massage envy cares more about signing up future customers and making money much more than they care about their existing customers.
